Environment Understanding with Cognitive Vision

Our cognitive vision system observes a space once and forms an understanding of it, which it can then use to answer questions about that space or to guide a robotic body acting within it. Play the clip, then ask what a new colleague would ask on their first day: can I heat my lunch here, how do I make a coffee. Every answer is grounded in what the footage shows, and where the understanding is incomplete, the system returns to the source and examines it again.

What the system offers

01An understanding of the space From ordinary footage the system establishes what a space contains and what it affords: fixtures and appliances, supplies, the instructions posted on the wall, and equally what is absent.
02Questions in plain language Visitors ask in their own words and receive a practical answer, set out as steps where the task requires them, in the language they asked in.
03Grounded, and candid about its limits Answers stay within what has been observed. Where a question goes beyond that, the system examines the source again rather than speculating. A live camera serves as the source as readily as a recorded clip.

Your space, seen by cognitive vision.

The same understanding applies to any environment — a ward, a workshop, a plant room, a rental property — and in most cases the footage needs no preparation beforehand. Leave your details and we will demonstrate it on a recording of your own.
